Upshot Original is our first whiskey, crafted as a tribute to the hard work, passion, and dedication poured into every bottle. A well-rounded, modern expression of tradition and innovation, it’s made from 100% West Australian grains: 80% corn, 10% malted barley, and 10% wheat. Influenced by Perth’s Mediterranean climate and patiently aged in virgin American white oak, Upshot is uniquely smooth and inviting.

Fragrant with a rich, creamy blend of vanilla, dark toffee, and maple, with hints of nutmeg and cedar, it’s perfect for enjoying across all seasons and in good company. This is our vision of a well-rounded Australian whiskey, crafted for both novice and seasoned whiskey drinkers alike.

Our Upshot Australian Whiskey is a perfectly balanced choice for a classic old fashioned.

60ml Upshot Australian Whiskey
Bar spoon of sugar syrup (preferably spiced)
2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Stir well on ice to subtly dilute, serve over a rock of ice, express the oils then garnish with orange peel.
