VISITING WHIPPER SNAPPER DISTILLERY

What are the opening hours?
We are open seven days a week:

Monday to Thursday 6.30 AM – 5 PM
Friday 6.30 AM – 8 PM
Saturday 8 AM – 7 PM
Sunday 10 AM – 2.30 PM

Are you a functioning distillery?
Yes, we are. The production runs throughout the week, so you will get the privilege of seeing our distillers working behind the scenes in our humble home.

What do you have on offer in your café/cellar door?
You can head in-store for your morning or afternoon coffee, or you can pull up a seat at our bar and enjoy a guided-tasting flight or a whiskey cocktail or two. If you like what you taste, you can purchase all of our products at the cellar door or, alternatively, online.

Do you have food available for purchase?
Yes. We have a cabinet full of ready-made food options from local businesses.

Do you cater for dietary concerns?
Yes. We offer a range of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. Please remember that our food is made off-premise, so while we do our best to prevent cross-contamination in-store, we cannot always guarantee it.

Can I bring my own food?
No, only the food we have to offer is to be consumed on the premises.

Do I have to wear enclosed footwear?
Yes. Enclosed shoes are a legal requirement for all tours and masterclasses within the distillery.

Can I smoke or vape in/around the distillery?
No. For safety reasons, smoking/vaping is prohibited within 10 metres of the distillery doors.

Do I need a booking for the café/bar?
No. We welcome walk-ins; however, we encourage larger groups to make a booking to ensure we can accommodate their needs.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are more than welcome. Please be mindful of others and always keep your furry friend on the lead. We do have dog whiskey (water bowls) situated around the distillery, and dog biscuits are available for purchase.

ONLINE ORDERS AND SHIPPING

When can I expect to receive my order?
Unfortunately, since COVID-19, we cannot guarantee delivery dates as unavoidable delays are beyond our control.

Delays withstanding, typical delivery times are:

  • Perth Metro 1-3 days
  • Interstate (Australia-wide) 5-14 days
  • International is typically 2-6 weeks

All orders are generally dispatched within 1-2 business days.

Please be aware that alcohol purchases, consumption, and possession are restricted in parts of Australia. Orders delivering to Restricted Dry Zone areas are not to be placed.

Do you deliver to PO boxes and parcel lockers?
Yes, we do!

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, however, we cannot ship to all countries. Due to packaging requirements, we cannot ship to the USA, as doing so is against aviation and customs laws.

What will it cost for me to get my order delivered?
Exact shipping costs for your location are calculated at checkout.

For international orders, Whipper Snapper Distillery is not liable for any additional handling fees that may be charged by customs or the government of that country. Please be sure to check your country’s import laws and fees that may be charged when your order arrives.

Do you offer express shipping?
No. Australia Post does not offer an express post service for fragile goods.

Will I receive confirmation/tracking?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email from distillery@whippersnapperdistillery.com, be sure to check your junk mail. You will then receive another email with a tracking number once your order is picked up.

Can I change my delivery address?
Providing your order has not been shipped already, we can change the address. If the order placed has been collected, you are unable to change the delivery address.

I opted to pick up my order; when can I collect it?
You can collect your order in-store once you have received an email confirmation that your order has been fulfilled. You will be required to show proof of purchase and photo ID. Failure to provide both of these will mean your order will not be handed over.

Do I have to sign on delivery?
Yes. All orders must be signed on delivery by someone 18 years and older.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

Do you offer returns/refunds?
Yes, under exceptional circumstances only.

For bottle products, if they arrive broken or are not what you ordered, we will provide a new bottle(s) and absorb the shipping cost.

For merchandise, an exchange will be offered if the products are damaged or are the wrong size.
All returns/refunds will require proof of purchase and must be made within 30 days of purchase. For more information, please read our Returns Policy.

EXPERIENCES AT WHIPPER SNAPPER DISTILLERY

Do I need to book for a tour?
Yes. We highly recommend booking in advance to secure your booking on your chosen date.
For distillery tours and experiences, head to our Book Experiences page.

I don’t drink, can I still come for a tour?
Yes, absolutely! When booking one of our experiences, you can choose a non-drinker option; just be sure to tick the box when checking out.

Can I reschedule my tour/masterclass?
Yes, we are happy to reschedule a booking provided that we have a minimum of 24hours notice before your booking time. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility to reschedule.

EVENTS

Do you offer venue hire?
Yes. We love hosting events from small group tasting tours to full venue hire.

Can I host my wedding in the distillery?
No. While we’re honoured you’ve considered us, and as much as we’d love to be part of your special day, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate this.

If you’d like to arrange wedding photography within the distillery, please reach out to bookings@whippersnapperdistillery.com

Will you cater my event?
No, we cannot cater your event as we do not have a kitchen in the distillery. For larger groups, we will accept outside food and recommend that you organise appropriate catering for the duration of your event.

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we do! We currently have three types of gift cards available:

  • Tours/Masterclass Gift Cards:
    Can be purchased in-store and online.
    Can only be used to book a tour or masterclass experience.
    Cannot be used for purchases.
  • E-Gift Cards:
    Can only be purchased online.
    Can only be redeemed online via our website.
    Cannot be used for purchasing Tour & Masterclass Experiences.
  • DOLLAR-VALUE GIFT CARDS:
    Can only be purchased in-store.
    Can only be used to purchase liquor, merchandise and in-store at our café.
    Cannot be used to book a tour or masterclass experience.
