Project Q – The World’s Only Quinoa Whiskey

Australia’s first quinoa whiskey – and now the only one in the world. Crafted from a unique grain bill of 65% quinoa, 25% corn, and 10% malted barley. The golden quinoa is grown locally near Narrogin in WA’s Wheatbelt, by our mates at 3 Farmers Quinoa, Australia’s first commercial quinoa growers.

Matured in American oak barrels that once held our award-winning Upshot whiskey, Project Q has rested patiently for over six years in Perth’s warm, dry climate.

The result of years of trials and experiments, Project Q is bold, grain-forward, and sharply integrated – a whiskey that will intrigue the palate and redefine what an Australian whiskey can be.

Quinoa Sazerac

This whiskey has a very complex flavour profile with earthy and herbaceous notes, it sure makes a delicious Sazerac!

30ml Project Q Quinoa Whiskey
30ml Upshot Australian Whiskey
½ Bar spoon of sugar syrup
4 dashes of creole bitters
Stir thoroughly over ice in a mixing glass
Spritz serving glass with absinthe rinse
Strain into serving glass, garnish with lemon twist and serve.
